Malaga Airport Trains

Before next summer travellers on the train to Malaga airport will arrive in the new train station underneath the main airport building. The new train station is also designed to receive high speed trains arriving from other Spanish cities as well as a double train track all the way to Marbella.

Until then train travellers arriving at the airport from Fuengirola train station or going to Fuengirola from Malaga airport have to use the present train stop which is totally obsolete and difficult to access for older passengers pulling heavy suitcases and impossible for wheelchair users.

Malaga airport train stop is 300 metres from the airport building reached by a ramp from the first floor departures level completely in the open air. Buy your ticket from the vending machine before climbing up to the platform. The trains to Fuengirola leaves Malaga Airport every 30 minutes and the trains from Fuengirola arrives at Malaga airport train stop every 30 minutes.
