How do I get from Malaga Airport to Puerto Banus in Marbella?

Hello we are flying into Malaga Airport and we are staying just outside Puerto Banus. We dont want to hire a car or get a taxi and thought a bus would be an option. I have heard you can get a bus from the Malaga airport to Marbella Bus Station How much are bus fares from Malaga airport and also from Marbella to Puerto Banus?

From the Marbella bus station take a taxi, there is a taxi rank outside the Marbella Bus Station. The taxi cost to Puerto Banus is €12 or less. It is a short 10 minute taxi ride to Puerto Banus.

There are buses from Marbella bus station to Puerto Banus (You can find details of this bus by going to the link below, All Costa del Sol bus schedules, look for Marbella Local Buses) but it will add another 45 minutes on to your journey because it goes through Marbella first and stops all along the way. The bus service from the airport to Marbella bus station is a really great service and with the money you save on that journey you can take a taxi for the last short ride and arrive in style! Use the local buses later when you are settled in, but on your first day here, get to Puerto Banus as fast as you can.
