List of bus stops between Marbella and Estepona

List of bus stops when travelling by bus between Marbella and Estepona on the CTSA Portillo Bus Service.

Check on the Costa del Sol bus page for the Marbella Bus Schedules and look for the MARBELLA - ESTEPONA route.
The Marbella to Estepona bus route follows the CN340 (Carretera Nacional 340) on the sea side from Estepona to Marbella and the inland side from Marbella to Estepona. DO NOT EVER attempt to cross this road on foot at any point unless you are using an underpass or footbridge over the road. It is lethal and the road traffic travels far too fast. You will have no chance. If you insist, try to carry some form of identification or contact numbers for immediatate relatives.

The new San Pedro temporary bypass road system opened 11/05/08 and will last until at least October of 2010 perhaps longer with the crisis and cutback.

The buses no longer travel through San Pedro in either direction and until the end of the tunnel works, you will need to walk at least 500m away from the sea to get to the town.

If you are travelling from Estepona towards Marbella you will need to walk the same distance towards the sea from the old San Pedro terminal to pick up the buses travelling in this direction.

Expect bus stops along this stretch to change position from time to time until the tunnel under San Pedro is completed.
